The Fall General Membership Meeting and Potluck Luncheon was held on Sunday, October 25, 2008 at the American Legion Hall in Windsor at 12:00. A great lunch was available along with some good discussions about Amateur Radio.
Elections were held and the following officers were re-elected:

The 146.76 repeater is working well. Weather station is operational and instructions are on the web page.

Discussion concerning VE followed by hamfest starting at 10:00.
Suggest Green Mountain Radio Club be approached to share repeater access. Motion by Jeff Katchen, 2nd by Dave Wilbur to follow up with final approval by Bruce Van Houten of technical changes.

Repeater relocation is done. Dave Wilbur congratulated Bruce Van Houten for his leadership in handling this relocation.
Cabin Fever Dinner has reserved the Imperial Buffet restaurant in Claremont for Sunday, April 5 at 5 pm.
Information is on the website and an announcement on the repeater about a week before.
Field Day is June 27th some discussion and feeling is maybe should support Twin State Radio Club. More discussion next meeting.
July 1st is new membership requirement. Secretary will send membership applications to all members in June.
New Business:
Sponsor a get together for all people interested in amateur radio. Could include a swap fest, 50-50 drawing. Purpose is to stimulate interest in radio. Month before nearfest.

The Fall General Membership Meeting and Potluck Luncheon was held on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at the American Legion Hall in Windsor at 12:30. A great lunch was available along with some good discussions about Amateur Radio including the recent hamfest.
David Mikelson explained the opportunity available at the Civil Air Patrol building at Springfield Airport for meeting rooms and the FEMA trailer being equipped for field operations. The Squadron meets on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 pm and needs communications help.
The election of officers was accomplished and the new slate is as follows:

Discussion followed concerning the excellent work by Paul Alberghini on the relocation of the repeater. A letter of appreciation will be sent.
